Crosspoint<\/a>, part of the ES MEDIA GROUP<\/a>, is strengthening its organizational structure with the key appointment of Miguel Zaldo Ybarra, who will work closely with V\u00edctor Garc\u00eda to ensure the financial soundness and sustained growth of the company in his role as Head of Finance and Operations.<\/h2>\n

\"Crosspoint<\/a>With extensive experience in infrastructure, industrial engineering and IT, Zaldo<\/strong> will use his know-how to optimise Crosspoint’s internal processes<\/strong> with a KPI-based<\/strong> approach. This will allow the company to make informed decisions and overcome the challenges of a constantly transforming industry.<\/p>\n

With a degree in Economics from Rollins College and master’s degrees in Business Administration (Thunderbird School of Global Management), Project Management (UNIR) and Digital Transformation (MIOTI), Zaldo joins Crosspoint from Claro Spain<\/strong>, where he has led SAP implementation projects and driven IoT, cybersecurity and e-business initiatives with blockchain. The new Head of Finance and Operations previously left his mark at Accenture, Acciona, BNP Paribas, Grupo Azvi, and Louis Berger International, among others.<\/p>\n

V\u00edctor Garc\u00eda<\/strong>, Crosspoint’s managing director<\/strong>, believes that Zaldo’s appointment is a key step toward consolidating company processes<\/strong> that will help Crosspoint achieve its objectives. “Crosspoint continues to make progress on an ambitious roadmap that requires the best professionals to optimize our internal operations and exceed milestones. In this regard, Miguel will be a valuable addition to our team, bringing his expertise in finance and operations, two of our key areas.”<\/p>\n

Crossmedia expands with a strategic focus on the OTT market<\/h2>\n

\"Crossmedia<\/a>Crosspoint’s<\/strong> digital division, Crossmedia<\/strong><\/a>, is growing with two key additions<\/strong> aimed at strengthening its over-the-top (OTT) business<\/strong>. Crossmedia integrates and delivers OTT\/streaming solutions in the cloud, as well as end-to-end services for content creation, management, and distribution. These capabilities allow Crossmedia to offer broadcasters, telcos, and content owners<\/strong> comprehensive solutions and services for creating platforms, acting as a technology partner. In this context, Carlos Fern\u00e1ndez<\/strong> (OTT Specialist) and Guillermo Tapia<\/strong> (Senior Pre-Sales Engineer) have joined the company.<\/p>\n

As OTT Strategic Project Specialist, Fern\u00e1ndez will be responsible for leading the strategic execution of initiatives to develop and implement comprehensive streaming solutions (OTT)<\/strong> for clients, focusing on consulting, product and business strategy, and the operational aspects of each platform. Carlos has extensive experience managing the editorial team and coordinating the evolution of Mediaset Spain’s OTT services mitele Plus and Infinity at Megamedia<\/strong>, and will serve as a liaison between service providers, project managers, and platform managers.<\/p>\n

\"Crossmedia<\/a>On the other hand, Guillermo Tapia<\/strong> will be responsible for providing end customers with all the key information about Crossmedia’s portfolio of streaming and OTT solutions. With extensive experience in the development of OTT and front-end applications, and professional background at companies such as Accedo.tv and Fibernet, the telecommunications engineer will provide interested individuals with all the key information about Crossmedia’s 360 offering and the latest innovations from top-tier partners such as Brightcove<\/a><\/strong>, Conviva<\/a><\/strong>, and Fastly<\/strong><\/a>, among many others.<\/p>\n
