Crosspoint leads different Proofs of Concept with GV-AMPP, the most advanced technology for remote production, management and broadcasting.<\/strong><\/p>\n

CROSSPOINT<\/strong> is immersed in a campaign to disseminate in Spain the most innovative technology for the production of audiovisual content, the GV-AMPP<\/strong> platform. To this end, demonstrations and proofs of concept are being carried out, both online and in person, with the aim of bringing this new technological advance to broadcasters, production companies and companies related to audiovisual production and events.<\/p>\n

The AMPP<\/strong> (Agile Media Processing Platform) system from @Grass Valley<\/strong><\/a> is the greatest technological advance in recent decades, as it allows video and audio signals to be transported and processed with the highest broadcast quality and the lowest possible latency. The AMPP<\/strong> platform offers software tools (APPs) that provide unmatched flexibility and versatility to adapt to any temporary or permanent production deployment.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

AMPP<\/strong> has been developed to allow for the greatest adaptability of deployment in virtualised environments, whether in a home network, in the cloud on service provider instances, or even in hybrid environments mixing both worlds. This design overcomes and leaves behind the traditional reliance of broadcasters and production companies on hardware processing and production elements, and therefore all the associated logistical, growth, flexibility and amortisation constraints.<\/p>\n

AMPP<\/strong> is based on a SaaS (software services) model with modular services or APPs that can be set up and used immediately according to production needs. AMPP<\/strong> platform is the most complete currently available as it includes signal compression services (SDI, ST2110, SRT, RIST, NDI, …), video and audio mixing with high signal capacity and professional quality features, multi-screen processing, audiovisual signal format conversion, graphics, digital content management, and even broadcast channel continuity or playout environments. All this through the interconnection of independent services that are integrated in a user-customised design that can be freely and dynamically adapted to any need.<\/p>\n

AMPP<\/strong> offers the unique versatility of using these services in monthly subscription or pay-per-hour models. AMPP<\/strong> platform has been developed as an open ecosystem where other manufacturers, not only Grass Valley, can include and integrate their software modules. Unique and patented features of the system include the synchronisation and interconnection of the different software modules used.\"\"<\/p>\n

AMPP<\/strong> manages, in an agile, flexible and simple way, solutions for all the necessary requirements in the live production of content or in the broadcasting of audiovisual channels. In environments deployed on the user’s own systems, in the cloud or hybrid. Its design and architecture solves the difficult challenges of flexibility and latency of live production, accurate signal synchronisation, signal distribution and automated workflows, while its global reach and decentralised concept allows users and operators involved in a production to do so remotely. From CROSSPOINT we are offering the possibility of approaching this technological leap through presentations and proofs of concept that allow to analyse the solutions that the platform offers to any audiovisual production need and always from the human proximity and technical knowledge that characterises us. To this experience we add the knowledge and familiarity that its parent company, @ES Broadcas<\/a>t<\/strong>, has with this disruptive technology.<\/p>\n
